Security Officer Screening Full Time

As a Security Officer X Ray Screening Operator in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment, including X-ray technology, to help identify prohibited items and support a secure environment. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and report security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $20.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Screen packages, cargo, and/or personnel in accordance with applicable procedures and site requirements.
• Monitor screening equipment and access points, report irregularities, and document screening-related activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
