As a Security Officer - Screening Guard in Verdi, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while helping to maintain an orderly environment through teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, visitor processing steps, and security-related policies at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorization, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and emergency responders when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to identify and report security-related concerns or maintenance issues.
• Support shift operations by documenting daily activity, reporting policy violations or suspicious behavior, and following post orders related to access control, key control, and visitor management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
