As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Greensboro, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. This role involves maintaining a visible presence, communicating clearly with patients, staff, and guests, and helping with routine security-related responsibilities. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Screen employees, visitors, patients, and vendors at designated entry points while following access control protocols and reporting procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with staff and/or first responders when needed.
  • Monitor entrances, lobbies, and waiting areas for unusual activity and help to deter unauthorized access through visible presence and attentive observation.
  • Document screening results, incidents, and other security-related activity according to site requirements and Allied Universal standards.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
