What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Screen incoming and outgoing individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries in accordance with post procedures, documenting unusual activity and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, helping to support security-related protocols and business operations during routine and unusual conditions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouses, entrances, and the perimeter, noting maintenance issues, access concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Monitor entry points and activity across the location to help to deter unauthorized access, support traffic flow, and follow established communication and reporting procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
