Schedule: Monday - Friday, 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM (35 hours/week)
Position Summary
The Seasonal Security Officer is responsible for helping maintain a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, facilities, and company assets during the overnight shift. This position monitors security systems, responds to incidents and emergencies, conducts routine patrols, and assists with enforcing company policies and procedures. The Security Officer partners with Human Resources, Legal, and local emergency services to protect company property while providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe workplace.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras, access control systems, and dispatch systems for security concerns.
- Monitor employee, visitor, and vehicle traffic entering and exiting the facility.
- Conduct routine patrols of parking lots, building exteriors, warehouses, and company property.
- Enforce company security, access control, and parking policies.
- Respond promptly to security-related calls and requests for assistance.
- Investigate incidents involving company employees, property, or assets and gather information from appropriate sources.
- Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain security documentation using company computer systems.
- Respond to burglary alarms, fire alarms, and other emergency situations while communicating with emergency responders.
- Provide First Aid and CPR during medical emergencies and assist emergency medical personnel when necessary.
- Partner with Human Resources and Legal to help enforce company policies and procedures.
- Help safeguard company assets through proactive observation, monitoring, and response.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
