As a Security Officer Secure Access Officer in Breinigsville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry activity, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to all persons at the location by following site-specific procedures, screening access requests, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, manage visitor and contractor access, maintain accurate logs and records, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access concerns to the appropriate contacts.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using clear communication and following post orders and site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entrances, and perimeter locations as assigned, remaining aware of changing conditions within a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
