As a Security Officer Secure Access Operations in Mulberry, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a chemical manufacturing location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying identification, credentials, authorizations, and visitor or contractor documentation in accordance with site requirements.
• Monitor entry and exit points, maintain accurate access records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity to appropriate site contacts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, buildings, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
