As a Security Officer - Secure Site in Tucson, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related concerns, and support access awareness across the site. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, restricted areas, production spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify entry and exit activity in accordance with site protocols, helping to support authorized access for employees, visitors, and/or deliveries.
- Prepare accurate reports of patrol activity, incidents, and policy-related concerns, and relay important information during shift changes and/or to Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
