As a Security Officer Full Time Security Imaging in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener in a logistics and distribution location, you will use screening equipment to support access control and help identify prohibited items. You will remain visible, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate: $17.22 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Screen employees, contractors, visitors, and their belongings in accordance with established facility procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items to appropriate site personnel.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, documentation, and authorization for entry into controlled areas of the logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and completing required reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, loading zones, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
