As a Security Officer Patrol in Lititz, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shopping Centers, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in at a busy shopping center, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable, caring approach while responding to routine site needs with agility and professionalism.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entry points, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor for issues such as suspicious behavior, unauthorized access, loitering, and/or potential loss prevention concerns, and communicate observations according to site protocols.
• Support a professional presence at the location by assisting with access control, directional assistance, and customer interactions while helping to deter security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
