As a Security Officer Patrol Driver in York, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in a busy retail location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, with patrols that help to deter security-related incidents while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document security-related concerns, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions.
- Support loss prevention awareness by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with incident response, and communicating with store leadership and/or local authorities when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
