Our Security Officers monitor and patrol assigned areas within a government location, helping to support a secure environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verifying authorized access and following post orders related to visitors, deliveries, and/or restricted spaces.
• Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and assisting with security-related requests in accordance with Allied Universal standards and location policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
