As a Security Officer - Tech Center in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. In this driving post, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, drivers, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting the appropriate personnel and/or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or site concerns.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify credentials and/or delivery documentation as required, and document security-related activity in clear, accurate reports.
• Observe and report unauthorized access, property damage, hazards, and suspicious behavior to help to deter loss and disruption.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
