As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Bryn Mawr, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Allied Universal officer in an education location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support students, staff, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for an educational location.
• Respond to incidents, disruptions, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor entry procedures, after-hours building checks, and support during arrivals, departures, and special events as directed by site policies.
• Communicate with school personnel, visitors, and first responders when needed, providing clear information and support during routine operations and/or emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
