Security Officer - Train Access Control

As a Security Officer - Train Access Control in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a public transit location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and assist riders, visitors, and staff with exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at transit locations.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help identify and report security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, hazards, and maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, passenger concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate transit personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and incident documentation while maintaining professional communication with the public and site staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
