As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in HONOLULU, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, shoppers, and/or store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with site leadership when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, common spaces, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or maintenance-related issues according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with crowd flow during busy periods, and/or helping with orderly responses to alarms or other disruptions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
