As a Security Officer Unarmed Driving Detail in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Security Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will help monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle-based patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter access points, helping to identify unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to support authorized entry procedures and reporting suspicious behavior, unsecured areas, and/or policy-related concerns.
- Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a professional presence, following post instructions, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or emergency responders when appropriate.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
