As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Specialist in Burbank, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points and alarm activity, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or guests at a media and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, production spaces, common areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and report unauthorized access attempts or access-control concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Complete clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and daily logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
