Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, public concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, staff, visitors, and public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, report suspicious behavior, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or policy violations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Support daily operations by assisting with directions, responding to questions from travelers and visitors, and reporting maintenance, hazard, and/or operational concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
