As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Response in Coal Township, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.15 / Hour

• Age Requirement
  Candidates must be at least 21 years of age (C101). This requirement is in place to ensure compliance with legal regulations

• Security Experience
  Candidates must possess a minimum of six months of relevant security experience (C112). This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to handle security-related responsibilities effectively and contribute to a safe working environment.

• Customer Service Experience
  Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219). This experience is essential for roles that require interaction with clients and customers, ensuring that our team members can provide exceptional service and support.

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and vendors at a government-operated retail location by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, sales floor, storage areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions, prohibited items, or unauthorized access to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site representatives as required.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
