As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Reporting in Santa Clara, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and neighborhood location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and shoppers. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random vehicle and/or foot patrols throughout the neighborhood retail property, including storefronts, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Observe and report unusual activity, property conditions, access concerns, and potential hazards to the appropriate personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting emergency services and/or site contacts as directed.
• Assist with maintaining a welcoming environment by providing directions, answering questions, and documenting daily activities and incidents accurately.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
