As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government utility location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a government utility location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, restricted zones, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor entrances, gates, and/or access points, verifying credentials and assisting visitors, contractors, and employees in accordance with site protocols.
• Support site operations by communicating with local personnel and/or public-facing contacts, helping to address routine concerns and maintain order throughout the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 lbs, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
