Security Officer Unarmed Rover

As a Security Officer Unarmed Rover in Byhalia, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse, distribution, loading dock, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or delivery activity in accordance with location procedures.
• Support loss prevention efforts by observing trailer yards, shipping and receiving areas, and high-traffic operational zones for suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or operational disruptions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
