As a Security Officer Visitor Screening Driver in Sulphur, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience (C108)

Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124)

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential checks, visitor processing, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for employees, contractors, and visitors, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas within a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Document daily activities, access-related incidents, and unusual conditions in logs and reports, including visitor records, delivery activity, and policy-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter locations to observe conditions, report concerns, and support security-related procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of security-related supervisor/manager experience or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
