As a Security Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and operate a vehicle as part of assigned duties. Position Type: Part Time - VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRED 1+ YEAR WITH CLEAN DRIVING RECORD

Pay Rate: $17.08 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances and exits, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and shift documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
