Job Description:
As a Security Officer - Vehicle Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels and documenting security-related events as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity, identify unusual conditions, and report maintenance and access concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help control access, support visitor management practices, and communicate clearly with site contacts regarding security-related issues.
- Support a professional environment by following post orders, interacting respectfully with the public, and assisting with routine security-related duties as assigned by Allied Universal and/or site leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
