Overview: Sentara Park in Virginia is looking to hire a Security Officer. Candidates require mobile patrols in the surrounding areas.
Schedule: Monday- Friday from 5:30pm to 1:00am. Must be able to work overnights from 11:00pm to 7:00am
Security Officer Responsibilities: The Security Officer provides a physically safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees at Sentara Hospitals and Free-standing Emergency Departments.

Security Officer Responsibilities (continued): The Security Officer provides a physically safe and secure environment for patients, visitors and employees at Sentara Facilities. The Security Officer actively patrols campus, clinics and monitors activity through various methods and means.

Safety and Security Requirements: To bolster safety and security for our patients and team members, Sentara has implemented a Fit for Duty assessment to ensure that our officers meet a minimum standard of fitness.
The four-part assessment includes a response walk, a stair climb, a drag to safety and a lift.
Certification Requirements: Certified Healthcare Security Officer (CHSO) and Handle with Care certification required within 90 days of hire.
Education: High School Diploma
Certification: Valid Driver's license

Experience: 1 year of Security experience required
