As a Security Officer Visible Patrol in Redwood City, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through appropriate site channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related issues.
• Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying credentials when required, and reporting access concerns to site management.
• Support daily property operations by communicating professionally with occupants and/or vendors, assisting with routine inquiries, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
