As a Security Officer Visitor Check Driver in Moncks Corner, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic technology location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential verification, and security-related policies.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access within the location.
- Maintain visitor logs, issue temporary credentials as directed, and communicate access activity, concerns, and/or irregularities to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response activities and site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to observe conditions, report unusual activity, and support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be 21+ years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
