As a Security Officer Patrol Guest Assistance in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, operational concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, dock spaces, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or contractor entry requirements, and report security-related issues, damaged equipment, or policy concerns according to site procedures.
- Support loss prevention and package handling protocols by observing outbound and inbound activity, documenting incidents, and sharing relevant information with site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
