As a Security Officer Dispatch Driver in Mount Vernon, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor activity, coordinate communications, and support timely responses to security-related needs. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver exceptional customer service with clear communication while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Monitor radios, phones, alarms, and/or dispatch systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and communicate routine and critical information to on-site personnel and leadership in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Coordinate the dispatch of officers and/or appropriate site personnel to incidents, access concerns, medical calls, equipment issues, and other security-related situations while helping to support timely response efforts.
- Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and status updates, and relay key information between field personnel, control points, and/or client representatives according to post orders and site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter as assigned; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
