As a Security Officer Zone Patrol in South Chesterfield, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and integrity while working as part of a caring, innovative team.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and site personnel by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor the movement of people, vehicles, and deliveries entering and leaving the location, assisting with access control processes and reporting discrepancies, damaged property, and/or unauthorized activity.
• Support daily operations by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance when needed, and completing required reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and policy-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
