Security Operations Analyst - Banking

A financial services organization is seeking a Security Operations Analyst in Miami, Florida. This hybrid role focuses on securities and investment operations support, including reconciliations, transaction processing, and cross-functional coordination across trading and operations teams.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day shift
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 9am to 5pm (EST)
• Setting: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Responsibilities:

• Perform end-of-day reconciliations between internal operating systems and external trading platforms.
• Investigate and resolve position and transaction discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support securities transactions, including buy and sell orders, settlements, transfers, and corporate actions.
• Review transfer requests and assist with security master setup and related operational workflows.
• Communicate with bankers, trading teams, compliance, and other departments to resolve operational issues and support day-to-day service needs.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of experience in securities or investment operations.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, written and verbal.
• Experience performing reconciliations.
• Hands-on experience supporting securities transactions, including settlements, transfers, or corporate actions.
• Strong understanding of investment products such as equities, fixed income, mutual funds, and ETFs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.

Desired Skills:

• Bloomberg experience.
• Experience with trade settlements, middle office operations, trade support, investigations, or securities transfers.
