Security Operations Center (SOC) Operator
This position operates on-site in Phoenix, Arizona. This is not a Cybersecurity position.
Who We Are Looking For
The SOC Operator must be detail oriented, have a strong aptitude for communication and analytical thinking when responding to events, as well as having a team-first mentality. Daily responsibilities will focus on the monitoring of global events from a variety of sources, assess impact and then disseminate those incidents to the appropriate parties. Operators must be able to effectively comprehend data and compose clear and effective communications that will have a wide audience. The Operator will regularly monitor security camera systems and coordinate with physical security teams to respond to any incidents.
What You Will Work On
Monitor, assess and acknowledge all daily alerts, reported incidents from client personnel, and site intrusion detection alarmsMonitor and administer access control, video management, and intrusion detection systems, including dispatch of security officers when needed while meeting the performance criteriaMonitor events through open-source collection and coordination with local assetsRespond to inbound calls from employees and security personnel providing customer service focused responsesWrite security incident investigation reports to provide situational awareness and communicate risks to managementMonitor designated online tools to conduct situational awareness on social media platformsCollect, evaluate, and disseminate intelligence to support action plans based on credibility and likelihoodPerform proactive threat intelligence gathering and response, including but not limited to: event monitoring, persons of interest, execution protection intelligenceContribute to procedures and processes to standardize and enhance risk managementWork closely with various teams responsible for security, operations, and incident managementProvide emergency and non-emergency security system monitoring, event dispatch, and emergency notification servicesProcess and maintain a wide variety of files, logs, reports, and formsResponsible for performing, evidencing, and supporting all necessary tasks for audits

What You Will Bring
Bachelor's degree in a related field is strongly preferred. Either bachelor's degree or equivalent military experienceHave an interest or direct experience in the following: Intelligence, Security Operations, Critical Incident Management or Corporate Security, Emergency ManagementMust be well-versed in current technologies and open-source search methodologiesMust be a competent user of Microsoft Suite and Google SuiteMust be willing to sign an NDA and maintain strict confidentialityMust be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writingAbility to maintain a professional demeanor during stressful situationsMust be able to quickly adapt and excel in dynamic situationsDemonstrated organizational and time management skillsSuccessful client management experienceA demonstrated history of effective conflict resolution skillsMaintain composure in dealing with authorities, executives, clients, staff, and the public occasionally under conditions of urgency and in pressure situationsAbility to attend training events and mandatory meetings that fall outside normal work hoursAbility to work 8 to 12-hour shifts both days and nights
