Position summary:
  • A typical day involves a mix of monitoring, analysis, remediation, and collaboration across multiple security services. Engineers begin by reviewing dashboards and alerts to identify vulnerabilities, compliance issues, or endpoint risks that require attention. They validate findings to determine true risk, prioritize actions, and coordinate remediation efforts with internal teams.
  • Throughout the day, engineers may deploy patches or configuration changes, investigate systems that are out of compliance, and confirm that previously identified issues have been successfully resolved. They also support ongoing security operations by maintaining scan coverage, improving detection capabilities, and ensuring systems align with enterprise security standards.
  • Engineers collaborate closely with other service teams, architecture, and operations to troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and enhance automation. They contribute to reporting and audit preparation by gathering evidence and validating that controls are operating effectively.
