Job Summary
This is manual work in the Citys Municipal Parking Garages. An employee in this class, under direct supervision of the Superintendent of Public Parking, patrols all of the garages in the City providing security presence during the week-end night hours. This position is considered "essential personnel", and will be required to be able to respond to emergencies as needed. This position is primarily evenings and weekends.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to move about their assigned parking deck either on foot or assigned vehicle. The employee is occasionally required to sit and traverse and/or balance. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to communicate with others. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
