The Patrol Supervisor at Signal of Omaha is a pivotal role, primarily responsible for overseeing the operational effectiveness and excellence of the patrol teams. This individual serves as the frontline leader in maintaining the highest standards of security services and safety for our clients, their assets, and their properties. The Patrol Supervisor is a role model demonstrating Signal's core values and is committed to leading from the front in all aspects of security operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Supervision: Ensure team members are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated. Conduct daily briefs discussing assignments, tactical approaches, safety protocols, and client-specific requests.
Scheduling for the patrol teams
Knowledge of all patrol route
Management of a team of seven
Reports directly to the operations coordinator
Operational Management: Monitor teams to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards. Respond to emergencies or incidents.
Client Relations: Maintain professional relationships and ensure client satisfaction. Address client calls relating to the duties of the patrol division.
Communication: Maintain robust and effective communication across all channels efficiently and accurately manner between Officers, Coordinators, and other departments. Foster a culture of openness and information sharing. Act as a liaison between the field officers and upper management.
Reporting and Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely reporting of all incidents, patrol activities, and relevant occurrences. Review/audit patrol logs and provide feedback/guidance to improve accuracy and detail.
Miscellaneous: Take ownership of the patrol team, including the day-to-day operations in line with Signal's goals and standards. Identify and address any gaps in skills or performance, and foster a proactive and solution-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 or older
Must beable to pass a background check & drug test
Must have a valid driver’s license
Must have a working and functional smartphone with data to conduct reports
Must own personal transportation or have reliable transportation to get to work
Possess strong observational skills
Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Weekends and overnights may be required.
Education: High school diploma or GED is required
