The Security Police Sergeant's primary responsibility is to ensure the safe and secure environment for all patients, staff, and visitors to the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital (SJMH)- West Market and Health Center campuses.
An employee within this classification performs general security police duties as outlined in the Security Police Officer's job description and under the supervision Chief of Security Police performs shift level administrative tasks including scheduling, allocation of manpower, work assignments, and problem solving.
Performs other duties as assigned
Associate Degree in Business Administration, Law Enforcement Administration or Security Administration is preferred. A Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Law Enforcement Administration or Security Administration is desired.
