In this role, you will contribute to security-related operations while working with a team that values being agile, reliable, and innovative, with a people-first culture built on integrity. **Position Type: Part Time** **Pay Rate: $22.16 / Hour** **Job Schedule:** **Day** **Time** Tue10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur02:00 PM - 10:00 PM **What You'll Do:** + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, screening entry at access points, verifying credentials, and supporting security-related protocols for a regulated aerospace and defense location. + Monitor entrances, exits, badges, visitor logs, and delivery activity to help to deter unauthorized access and/or report irregular activity in accordance with site policies. + Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site contacts, documenting events, and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate. + Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions, access control concerns, and other security-related issues that may need attention. + Support badging, escort, and restricted area procedures by confirming authorization levels, providing directions, and communicating clearly with personnel and visitors regarding access requirements. **Minimum Requirements:** + Customer service experience is preferred. + The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred. + Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. + Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred. + CPR and/or First Aid is preferred. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. **Why Join Us:** + **Smart Tools:** Access to our exclusive technology to view and claim additional shifts to earn more. + **Career Growth:** Get paid training and access to career growth opportunities. + **Financial Benefits:** Participate in our retirement savings plan to invest in your future. + **Exclusive Perks:** Enjoy discounts on top brands and services through our Perks Program. **Job ID:** 2026-1588028 **Location:** United States-Washington-Renton **Job Category:** Security Officer, Part Time Security
