Security Professional - Hotel Patrol

As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier hotel location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, residents, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a hotel and resort setting.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, common areas, and high-traffic spaces, documenting security-related observations, reporting maintenance or policy concerns, and assisting with visitor direction when appropriate.
• Support hotel operations by helping with crowd management, monitoring deliveries and contractor activity, and following post orders related to after-hours access, special events, and/or property rules.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
