Position Summary: The Security Program Services Administrator is responsible for a wide range of tasks and duties that support the Security Department. This position interacts extensively with security and surveillance staff and regularly communicates with department leadership and external stakeholders. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are required. This individual will be responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and oversight of security programs, focusing on compliance with security policy and procedures.

Critical Tasks:

  • Assists the Security Director in managing Gila River Health Care's (GRHC) mass notification system platform and serves as the primary contact for access issues and training.
  • Coordinates integration between mass notification system platform and digital media services.
  • Uses their advanced technical skills while balancing strategic leadership, has a deep commitment to cybersecurity, and proven experience in infrastructure management.
  • Manages and responds to department email account communications.
  • Maintains department records archive system to include shared drive system.
  • Maintains databases and information necessary for compliance with The Joint Commission, and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
  • Assists in training staff on emergency procedures, and surveillance practices.
  • Tracks employee training and development.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for vendors, submits relevant documentation for agreement reviews for department projects and assists department leaders with project deliverables.
  • Supports department's office operations to include accounting, payroll, and administrative functions.
  • Research technical federal, state, and industry safety and or environmental regulations as needed or required.
  • Assists in the drafting & submission of new policies.
  • Assists with implementing effective operational standards for safety and security for GRHC campuses.
  • Attends and participates in professional group meetings; maintains awareness of latest trends and developments in GRHC compliance and other security compliance areas.
  • Incorporates new developments into programs, training initiatives, or written policies and procedures.
  • Assists with ensuring third-party security vendors adhere to the agreed obligations documented in contractual agreements.
  • Tracks and reports incidents related to safety, security, or environmental hazards, and collaborate with relevant departments to address any concerns or corrective actions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, security, criminal justice, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software for documentation and reporting.
  • Demonstrates ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures and community health services.
