The F-35 is designed with the entire battlespace in mind, providing unparalleled flexibility and capability to the United States and its allies. This multi-role fighter combines air-to-air combat, air-to-air ground strikes, electronic attack, and intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance into a single platform. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support one or more Special Access Programs (SAPs) as the Assistant SAP Security Officer (ACSSO).

The individual selected for this position will need experience working on large SAP platforms. Must have knowledge and experience with Physical Security, Personnel Security and SETA. Must have the ability to analyze and interpret security regulations. In addition, serve as a liaison between government security customer(s) and program management.

Develops, administers and audits security programs for compliance with government regulations associated with the protection of classified material and export controlled data. Develops and executes security programs associated with the protection of proprietary information in compliance with corporate policies. Performs in individual and team roles supporting all contractual security requirements for SAP, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) programs or DOD collateral classified programs. Serves as an Assistant Contractor Program Security Officer (ACPSO), an ACSSO or a Security Representative. Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company compliance and contract execution as set forth in SAP security rules (JAFAN/JSIG), SCI security rules (ICD) or DOD security rules (NISPOM). Works closely with U. S. Government customers to seek contract execution approvals and seeks security rulings or deviations. Provides support in managing the quality, schedule and cost expectations associated with program development and execution, while maintaining the fundamental security requirements defined by the customer/company and program. Prepares implementation manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitors access to classified materials. Develops and conducts security education classes. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Applies business-minded and risk-managed solutions to security issues and business challenges, and communicates observations and recommendations to leadership and enterprise business partners. Processes clearances and customer visits and provides support for classified meetings.

Basic Qualifications

• Current security clearance investigation within 5 years from investigation close date
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Programs (SAP) access
• Possesses experience with and knowledge of DoD Manual 5205.07 and Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705
• Experience using PDF applications and Microsoft Office Products
• Ability to establish and maintain professional and productive relationships with internal and external customers
• MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located in a facility that requires special access.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $72500.00 - $134600.00

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
