Description:This position requires ability to obtain Secret clearance with Interim Secret obtained prior to start. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

The selected candidate will perform duties as Industrial Program Security Representative for multiple collateral programs with the Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company Facility in Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support all aspects of security to include, personnel, physical, technical, policy guidance research, and classification management as set forth in the 32 Code of Federal Registry Rule 117, National Industrial Security Program, Operating Manual (NISPOM) and applicable contractual and customer requirements as applicable.
  • Collaborate in a team environment with multiple security disciplines.
  • Implement government security requirements; and understand government methodologies, practices and technologies.
  • Identify and support internal and external customer needs and incorporate them into business processes.

Candidate must be results-oriented. Written and verbal communication, interpersonal relations, and analytical skills are required. Candidate will be required to identify areas of concern and raise issues to leadership as appropriate. Candidate will participate as a member of a dynamic Security team and require willingness to cross train and support other programs as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance with Interim Secret obtained prior to start.
  • Experience with customer service.
  • Familiarity with security process and procedures.

Desired Skills:

  • Industrial Security experience
  • Preferred experience with DISS, SIMS, and Intrusion Detection Systems, and Access Control Systems
  • Experience interfacing with internal and external customer
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a positive can-do attitude
  • Knowledge of NISPOM
  • SharePoint experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
