Security Representative (On-Call)

KEY REQUIREMENTS
SUMMARY The Security Representative screens people entering the Justice Center Complex and/or Cape Coral Government Complex for weapons, explosives, and other prohibited items to prevent them from being carried into the building. The Security Representative also acts as a Security Guard and performs other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The following duties are normal for this position. The omission of specific statements of the duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification.
(1) Screen persons entering the Justice Center Complex and the Cape Coral Government Center for restricted items
(2) X-ray purses, briefcases, parcels, and packages etc. which are brought into the building:

07 If hired without the required licenses, do you acknowledge and understand you must obtain a Security Officer License - Class "D" within 90 days of employment and a Florida Statewide Firearm License - Class "G" within 180 days of employment? Both licenses are required for this position. I understand that failure to obtain and retain both the "D" and "G" licenses within the required time periods listed may be grounds for termination of employment.
