Security Supervisor - Harrah''s Laughlin

Must be 21+ to work in this position

Harrah''s Laughlin is seeking a confident, experienced, and service‑driven Security Supervisor to lead daily security operations and support a team dedicated to protecting our guests, team members, and property. In this leadership role, you'll ensure compliance, guide officer performance, and uphold Caesars Entertainment's commitment to Family Style Service and safety excellence.

What We're Looking For

  • Two or more years of supervisory experience in law enforcement, corporate security, or a related field
  • Prior law enforcement experience preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision‑making skills
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, fire safety, and emergency protocols

Required Credentials

  • Ability to obtain and maintain applicable regional gaming cards and/or licenses
  • Valid local state driver's license with a clean driving record

Skills You'll Bring

  • Effective communication skills in English
  • Ability to read and write business correspondence, lists, and memorandums
  • Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

  • Supervise, plan, and schedule daily security activities
  • Conduct shift briefings to update on‑coming officers on new developments
  • Assign posts, determine coverage needs, and establish operational priorities
  • Observe and evaluate Security Officers for alertness, appearance, and performance
  • Review incident reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
  • Maintain current training records for all Security Officers
  • Report incidents to the Director of Security and collaborate with department leaders
  • Install and remove lockouts at the request of Hotel/Front Desk Management
  • Respond to emergency situations and take command of the scene
  • Coordinate with internal departments and outside agencies on matters of concern
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Security
  • Deliver Caesars Entertainment's Family Style Service to guests and team members

Leadership Responsibilities

You will oversee the Security department, including:

  • Hiring, training, and developing Security Officers
  • Planning, assigning, and directing daily work
  • Conducting performance evaluations
  • Rewarding and disciplining staff
  • Addressing concerns and resolving operational issues
