Security Specialist IILocation: Aberdeen Proving Ground, MDClearance Required: Secret Clearance**This position is contingent upon contract award**Job Description and Responsibilities:Experience interpreting, and providing guidance to program personnel on security policies, procedures, and regulations.Ability to establish, document and implement program security procedures/ standard operating procedures.Experience maintaining and managing all classified holdings, conduct reviews/inventory, organize material.Experience reviewing, developing and tracking DD Form 254 forms.Ensures compliance with Operations Security (OPSEC) plan and implement OPSEC measures.Experience providing Security Classification Guide (SCG) recommendations and compliance.Ability to provide organization Secure Internet Protocol Router (SIPR) security support.Experience managing and participating in the threat and vulnerability analysis/assessments, critical program information (CPI) assessments, SCG developments.Advise and represent the organization on matters related to the classification, downgrading, de-classification, and safeguarding of national security information.Knowledgeable of and compliant with all applicable administrative and security requirements, while assigned to, participating in, or supporting organization activities.Perform key custodian duties IAW the programs key control plan. Participant with security assistance for test events involving program systems. Qualifications:A minimum of three (3) years of security-related experience is requiredBachelor's Degree/High School DiplomaSubstitutions: Four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted for the BS degreeAbout Semper Valens Solutions:Semper Valens Solutions, Inc.
