As a Technical Security Specialist II, you will support SNC''s Security infrastructure by implementing advanced security systems to protect company and customer information, assets and personnel. You will support the lifecycle management of physical security systems and look for opportunities to integrate new technologies. Coordination with internal resources and external vendors will be crucial, along with travel to support system design, installation, or troubleshooting.

The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Responsibilities:

  • Provide Security customer support to SNC personnel, visitors and customers.
  • Execute administrative security processes and procedures to protect classified and sensitive information.
  • Participate in security compliance assessments and audits.
  • Maintain security documentation and records.
  • Respond to security incidents and support investigations.
  • Assist with visitor control and facility security.
  • Support the development of security policies and procedures.
  • Support lifecycle management of physical security systems, including access control, CCTV, and alarms.
  • Coordinate with internal and external resources for security system design, procurement and maintenance.
  • Identify and evaluate new security technologies and enhancements.
  • Provide troubleshooting support for security systems.
  • Travel to support system design, installation, or troubleshooting (up to 25%).

Qualifications you Must Have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Basic understanding of security compliance and regulations.
  • Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Detailed knowledge of security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms).
  • Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical security systems.
  • Previous employment with a technical solutions/physical security integrator or vendor.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience in the Military or Aerospace and Defense industry.
  • Familiarity with industrial security regulations and best practices.
  • Knowledge of 32 CFR 117: National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM) or SCI/SAP regulations applicable to the role.
  • Experience with access control/visit control/badge management systems and software.
  • Detailed knowledge of security systems (access control, CCTV, alarms).
  • Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical security systems.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to handle classified information securely.
  • Ability to work in an office environment, with occasional travel as required.
  • Capable of sitting for extended periods and working on a computer.
  • Dexterity to handle documents and perform electronic data entry.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $38.39 - $52.79. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates'' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.

U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants.
