Job Purpose & Scope
Leads the physical security operations center team responsible for delivering customer-focused security support services and responding to security incidents and emergencies.
Essential Job Functions
- Leads, directs, and oversees the daily operations and performance of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of security services.
- Promotes a customer service-focused culture by providing guidance, support, and leadership to team members serving employees, contractors, and vendors.
- Provides leadership and oversight in monitoring, responding to, and coordinating the resolution of security incidents, system alerts, service requests, and operational disruptions.
- Exercises sound judgment in evaluating security issues, determining appropriate corrective actions, and escalating matters to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
- Supervises, coaches, and develops team members through hiring support, onboarding, training, performance feedback, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Advises local management and department management on security related incidents.
- Conducts quality assurance reviews of security incidents and responses and provides coaching and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Identifies recurring security issues, analyzes trends, and implements solutions or process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with Security Analysts to assess, resolve, and improve complex security issues.
- Performs complex analysis, reporting, and data review activities to support the prevention, detection, investigation, and documentation of security incidents and emerging threats.
- Oversees the administration, monitoring, and first-tier troubleshooting of physical security technologies, including access control systems, badge access management, video surveillance systems, intrusion detection systems, alarm monitoring platforms, and related security technologies.
- Supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of security technologies, tools, and procedures that protect employees, facilities, and organizational assets.
- Contributes to the development, enhancement, and documentation of Corporate Security policies, procedures, standards, and operational practices.
- Assists other Corporate Security functions and cross-functional teams as needed to support business and security objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of alarm monitoring, card access management, and digital video systems.
- Ability to administer, program and configure access control, surveillance, and intrusion systems.
- Knowledge of safety and security protocols.
- Knowledge of security technologies and best practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to produce accurate documentation and present information effectively.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Security Management or Criminal Justice, or commensurate work experience, required.
- 4+ years of safety, security, military, crisis management and/or law enforcement experience, or other commensurate work experience, required.
- This position may require access to certain confidential information and areas of the Bank. Successful completion of a post-offer enhanced criminal background screening including fingerprinting is required.
- 1+ years of supervisory, management or leadership experience, preferred.
