ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  1. Maintains surveillance of non-gaming areas as assigned by the security director.
  2. Monitor and record all irregular activities, as requested.
  3. Report any illegal activities to the proper authorities.
  4. Maintains confidentiality and non-disclosure regulations at all times.
  5. Maintain all aspects of the surveillance room.
  6. Monitor the escorting and transfer of WRC assets.
  7. Write detailed reports describing accidents, injuries, criminal conduct, suspicious activity, and other business disruptions.
  8. Promote a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests. Promptly reports all concerns to the supervisor.
  9. Ensure the operation of equipment, tools, and materials are handled safely and properly.
  10. Promote internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
  11. Comply with regulatory laws, Employee Handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
  12. Must be able to work with a diverse group of people in a confined area.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY AUTHORITY:

  1. None.

 

SIGNATORY ABILITY:

  1. Area Supplies (Flash drives).

 

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

  1. Security Surveillance room
  2. View all areas designated as non-gaming and all security reports.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Six months experience working as a law enforcement officer/deputy, security/loss prevention officer, or security officer; OR Completion of a certificate/post-high school degree program in computer science/closely related field from an accredited institution; OR Special training in surveillance systems/operations.
  2. Read and apply procedural manuals.
  3. High School Diploma or GED.
  4. Employment history that demonstrates dependability and longevity.
  5. Must have excellent knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  6. Will sit for long periods observing numerous monitors and operating a keyboard, answering phones and two-way radios.
  7. Effective communication skills - verbally provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
  8. Lift to 50 pounds. This would consist of records retention containers or surveillance components.
  9. High degree of integrity and understanding of confidentiality.
  10. Requires a High-Security Gaming License clearance.
  11. Must be at least 18 years of age.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Practical work experience as a law enforcement officer/deputy, security officer, or surveillance officer.
  2. Thorough knowledge of casino operations and/or loss prevention
