In this role you will install maintain and repair security systems for both residential and commercial clients ensuring optimal performance and a high standard of customer satisfaction across every interaction. Success in this role requires a thorough understanding of security technologies strong troubleshooting instincts attention to detail and the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients in the field.Key ResponsibilitiesSet up and install security systems including alarms surveillance cameras access control systems and other related equipment at client sites.Perform regular maintenance checks and repairs on security systems to ensure ongoing reliability and functionality.Diagnose and resolve technical issues reported by clients providing timely and effective solutions to maintain system integrity.Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries explaining system functions and ensuring clients are comfortable and confident with their security setups.Recommend and implement system upgrades to enhance security measures as needed staying current with the latest security technologies and industry trends.Maintain accurate records of services performed parts used and customer interactions for each job site.Ensure all installations and repairs comply with applicable industry standards and regulations.QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required additional certification in electronics or a related field is a plus.Proven experience with security system installations and troubleshooting with familiarity across a variety of security technologies and equipment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address and resolve client issues in the field.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client interaction and internal documentation.High level of precision and attention to detail in all technical work.Capable of performing physical tasks such as climbing ladders and handling equipment.Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to job sites within the assigned service area.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentField-based role requiring regular travel to residential and commercial job sites throughout the service area.Physical demands include climbing ladders lifting and handling equipment and working in varying site conditions.Flexibility to work various shifts including occasional evenings weekends or overnight travel depending on client needs.The wage for this role is25.00 to 40.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.As part of the DU Family of Companies we believe that empowering and investing in our employees as leaders develops an organization that delivers innovative solutions and services that create a superior customer experience.
